Adnams The Brewer's House

Yards from The Swan, a short walk to the beach, moments to The Sole Bay Pub and convenient to the High Street, the Brewer’s House is the latest addition to Adnams Hotels’ portfolio.

Capable of sleeping eight (one Master Suite, two double bedrooms, and a sofa bed), the Brewer’s House is furnished to compliment its surroundings. The bright, fresh, coastal-themed interior is inviting no matter what the English weather brings.

The Brewer’s House is a double-fronted Victorian building located next to the Adnams Brewery and homes on Victoria Street. It faces East Green and has a lovely view of the Lighthouse from the First Floor.

On the ground floor, there's a spacious kitchen/diner as well as a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom and additional W.C., front-facing Master Suite with zip-link beds that can be made into two twin beds or a double bed, as well as a bright lounge with a feature fireplace and a double sofa bed.

The Brewer’s House is a self-catering property. However, as it is part of the Swan Hotel, guests have the option to pre-book a range of holiday extras including room service, daily housekeeping or even a tour of the Adnams Brewery.

Southwold is within easy reach of several of Suffolk’s finest churches (including the great ‘cathedral of the marshes’ at Blythburgh) as well as Framlingham and Orford Castles, the Minsmere bird sanctuary, the Maltings Concert Hall at Snape (home to Aldeburgh Festival), the Post Mill at Saxtead, the Long Shop Museum at Leiston (where a splendid collection of steam traction engines are preserved in Garrett’s original factory). This is a wonderful region to explore, at every season of the year.
